Saturday, December 31st, 2005

December was a very busy month for the family. I’ve already posted photos from our late Halloween as well as for Joey’s Birthday and Christmas. We were able to get the kids out on their sleds a couple of times this first winter in Wisconsin.

How Different RPGs Define the GM’s Role

Monday, December 26th, 2005

Treasure Tables, a blog for game masters, has an interesting post consisting of excerpts from a great number of role playing games describing the role of game master in that game. My favorite from the list has got to be from the RPG “Macho Women With Guns”:

You are the GM, and in game terms [...]

Christmas Day

Sunday, December 25th, 2005

We saved the Lego for Christmas, but Joey received plenty of Play-Doh from us and from Sarah’s parents. I can see we’ll be playing with many [...]

Snow Day

Wednesday, December 14th, 2005

We were hit today with our first real snow of the season. The forecast predicted eight inches or so. We’ll see how accurate they were in the morning.
Sarah left work early and we took the kids out to play with their sleds. A video of today’s fun is available in this [...]

Halloween in December

Thursday, December 8th, 2005

Everyone was sick this past Halloween, so we decided to wait to get the kids dressed up in their costumes. Last night, we finally got around to putting the kids into their Halloween costumes. We dressed Maggie up as a pink flamingo and Joey as a toucan. Maggie wanted to get the [...]
