Sports Illustrated.com has an article about a little-league coach in the Pittsburgh area who paid one of his players to hurt a disabled teammate, just so they could win the game. I’ve heard of some egregious incidents with little-league coaches and parents, but this one wins the prize. Where is the cat o’ nine tails when you need it?

A T-ball coach allegedly paid one of his players $25 to hurt an 8-year-old mentally disabled teammate so he wouldn’t have to put the boy in the game, police said Friday.
